About £5 billion worth of commercial property in the City district of London is currently up for sale, according to reports.
Some £3.25 billion of property is officially on the market, while £1.75 billion is available on the unofficial grey market, Tony McCurley of CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) told the Times.
Major properties that have recently been put up for sale include Tower Place, the Cutlers Gardens Estate, 30 St Mary Axe - otherwise known as the Gherkin - and a £1.8 billion portfolio of City properties that includes the Aviva Tower.
